come into being, the traditional stick-built curtain wall are decreasing, while the unitized 
curtain wall´s output are increasing annually due to its unique advantages of installation. 
Here we’ll give a brief introduction about the lifting of the unitized curtain wall with a few 
jobsitepictures. 

1. When the jobsite are ready for construction, store the curtain wall panel in the safe place. 

2. Use the forklift to transport the curtain wall panels to the site of lifting, try to avoid 
carrying by human. 

3. Fasten tightly with the steel wire rope for lifting to the panel’s top plate and the 
anti-collision rope to the panel’s bottom, to make sure the safety of lifting the curtain wall 
panel. 

4. Start the lifting of the panels, the worker in the building pulls out the curtain wall panel in 
accordance with the lifting speed, and people on the ground who operate the suspension line 
control the revolve of the panel. 

5. The curtain wall panels were lift to the installation location.
 
6. Adjust the panel to right place and remove the steel-wire rope.
 
7. Install the curtain wall, seal the water channel and begin the sealant work with design requirements 
and specific order.
